Type 2 to Type 1 EV charge cable so you can charge your Type 1 electric vehicle at a charging station with a Type 2 Socket.
Cars with Type 1 socket are generally Japanese imports such as Nissan Leaf, Mitsubishi Outlander, Prius, Eclipse, ENV200 and many more Japanese imports.
The majority of New Zealand public chargers use Type 2 socket.
So this adapter will convert the Type 2 free charging station to Type 1 (J1772) style so you can make use of free charging.
The chargers are found at Malls, Hotels, Gyms and public parks where the councils have provided chargers.
The car charging cable is flexible even in the low temperatures. The 32A rating allows you to charge at around 30km of charge per hour.
