This Smart EV Charger allows you to have full control by making use of the app to set charge schedules, automatic output adjustment based on Solar generation, adjust the current as well as monitoring power usage
It features a Type 2 cable for most NZ new cars.
If you have a car with a Type 1, then grab our untethered version
Features:
Plug and charge mode for use with out the app. Or secure mode locked using the app
Scheduled charging – edit and add multiple schedules.
Dynamic load balance to monitor your house hold current.
32A 7.2KW Charging or vary the charge rate from the app.
IP54 weather proof and can be mounted outdoors with no issues.
Input cable can be installed from the bottom or the back to hide the cable.
Led indicator ring light around the charge port
OCCP 1.6j Compatible
App compatible with Apple and Android
Attached Type 2 cable
This charger is able to add around 50km of charge per hour to your car.
Dynamic load balance
Optionally install the included CT clamp at the mains and this will monitor your total house draw. If this draw exceeds the maximum limit the charge rate will be reduced to avoid tripping the breaker.
Great if you are on a power plan that offers free power and you want to have all your appliances running at the same time.
Solar Mode
With the included second CT clamp installed on the output of your inverter the charger will automatically adjust its output to match what your solar is generating.
So if you are generating 20a of solar this will be diverted to your car. The minimum a car can charge is 6a, so when the sun goes behind a cloud it will be grid fed 6a to avoid constantly going on and off.

Very prompt delivery. Ross was very helpful before and after purchasing the charger. Although we struggled a bit with the App owing to our age the manual default system was easy to use.

Like the unit, does all we ask. We use it in the dumb mode as our wifi connection is next to useless.
Evan Davies –
Excellent Service – take the suggestion and buy the isolator switch and RCD device when you purchase. Watch out for the installers – not related to this purchase but a warning it shouldn’t cost more than $500 ish – I got two quotes for over $1000 and couldn’t see how they justified that.
Craig Hall –
Very good company and product and price was very competitive
Mark Holmberg –
Well engineered and nicely styled. A bit bulkier than others but easier to wire as a result. The app just links up and works without any hassle and is well designed
Matt Allcock –

Have nothing to compare it to as this is my first charger. What I can say is it delivers on everything as advertised and is really easy to operate and looks good. It is mid- price range for what we were looking at paying so great value as well. Great service as well, delivered on time and queries were answered over the phone and not through a website with FAQs.
