Why Electricians Buy From Us

Chargers That Are Quick to Install and Easy to Support

Simple install

No installer app, no settings

A standard single-phase install needs no configuration. There is no installer app to download, no commissioning portal to log in to and no settings to change. Put the charger into plug and charge mode and it is commissioned in about five seconds.

Remote support

We support your customer

If the homeowner rings with a problem, send them to us. We provide remote support directly to your customer, and if we cannot resolve the fault we will pay you to return to site and replace the unit while it’s under warranty.

Every EV

Compatible with all EVs

Our chargers work with every EV and plug-in hybrid on the New Zealand market. Not sure whether your customer needs a Type 2 socket, a tethered cable or a longer lead? Ask us before you quote — the advice is free.

Connectivity

Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or neither

Connect over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth for smart features, or leave the charger in plug and charge mode with no app and no network at all. The customer can change their mind later without you going back to site.

Parts & accessories

Everything for the job

Pedestals, charging cables, isolator switches, adaptors and test equipment — all at trade pricing. Stop pricing yourself out of jobs by sourcing accessories at retail.

Residential & commercial

Advice for any site

From a single home charger to a workplace car park with cost tracking and paid public charging, we can help you scope the hardware and the software before you quote the job.

What We Supply

Trade Pricing Across the Full Range

Trade pricing applies across the whole catalogue, not just the entry-level chargers. Current retail pricing is shown on each product page — your trade price sits below it.

Category Typical use Notes for installers
Wall mount EV chargers Homes, workplaces, accommodation Single-phase and three-phase, socket or tethered cable
Plug-in EV chargers Rentals, temporary supply, second sites No fixed wiring required where a suitable outlet exists
DC fast chargers Public, destination and fleet turnaround Wall mounted and floor standing, single and dual output
Charging cables Replacement and extended leads Type 2 to Type 2 and Type 1, various lengths and current ratings
Accessories and test equipment Every install Pedestals, isolators, adaptors and EVSE test adaptors

Not sure what to quote? Send us the site details — supply type, vehicle and whether the customer wants load management or cost tracking — and we will recommend the hardware before you price the job.

Compliance

EV Charger Testing Requirements Are Changing in 2026

The Electricity (Safety) Amendment Regulations 2025 move the cited Wiring Rules from AS/NZS 3000:2007 to AS/NZS 3000:2018. For anyone installing EV charging equipment, the practical changes are around RCD selection for DC fault currents, measuring RCD trip time as part of the function test, and the isolating switch required at residential Mode 3 and Mode 4 charging facilities.

WorkSafe guidance also recommends purpose-built test equipment for commissioning EV charging stations, and that the results are recorded with the relevant electrical certification. A PASS/FAIL-only EVSE tester may not be enough on its own.

Read the 2026 testing guide

What the guide covers

  • Key dates and what actually changes
  • Type B RCD vs Type A plus RDC-DD
  • The Clause 8.3.10 commissioning checklist
  • Isolator requirements under 7.9.3.3
  • What to look for in a test instrument

All of our smart EV chargers include integrated DC leakage protection, so a Type A RCBO in the switchboard is generally all that is required at the board.

How It Works

Setting Up a Trade Account

  1. Send the form. Tell us where you are based and roughly what you install. It takes under a minute.
  2. We send your pricing. You get a trade price list covering chargers, cables and accessories.
  3. Order what you need. No minimum quantity, no monthly targets, no account fees. Order online or by email.
  4. We back you up. Commissioning support on the day, and remote support for your customer afterwards.

Installer referrals

Work in your area

We get regular enquiries from EV owners looking for someone to install a charger. If you tick the referral box on the form, we will pass those enquiries to you when they come from your region.

There is no fee for referrals and no requirement to buy a set volume to stay on the list — we just need to know you are registered, insured and happy to take the work.

Coverage matters more than volume. If you are in a region we do not have an installer in yet, get in touch even if you have only done a handful of EV installs.

Bigger Jobs

Quoting Commercial and Fleet Work

If a customer asks about paid charging, RFID access, per-vehicle energy reporting or load management, we can scope the software side while you handle the electrical work. These pages explain what is possible:

Commercial sites

Car parks, retail and destination charging — how many chargers a site needs and what to install.

Commercial EV charging →

Fleet and depot

Charging multiple vehicles overnight, dynamic site load management and per-vehicle reporting.

EV chargers for fleets →

OCPP management
