The Polestar 2 uses a CCS2 plug for DC fast charging. On a 150kW rapid charger you’ll go from 20% to 80% in around 20 minutes; on a 50kW charger the same top-up takes around 60 minutes. Charging naturally slows above 80% and as the battery balances near full. DC chargers have their cable attached, so there’s no need to bring your own. AC public chargers (supermarkets, malls, hotels, workplaces) are slower, making them ideal when you’re parked in one spot for a while.
