The Geely EX5 comes with a 60kWh battery giving around 410–430km of range. Using the included 8A charger it takes around 30 hours to charge from 20% to 100% — fine as a backup, but slow for daily use.

The EX5 supports up to 100kW DC charging, taking the car from 20% to 80% in around 30 minutes. Charging slows after 80%, so on longer trips you’re better to split charging up. DC chargers have cables attached — no need to bring your own.
